How to use the meyy.info search
The meyy.info library contains 36 free pricing calculators and 60 in-depth guides — covering photographers, Etsy sellers, food trucks, home bakeries, custom cake makers, caterers, freelance writers, translators, interpreters, designers, developers, video editors, tutors, music teachers, language instructors, makeup artists, personal trainers, yoga instructors, hair stylists, cleaning services, lawn care operators, handymen, pet sitters, dog walkers, event planners, calligraphers, florists, interior designers, and many more working professions. This search page is the single fastest way to find a specific calculator or article in that library.
Type any keyword into the search box above and press Enter. The search runs across every calculator and every guide on the site in real time, then displays the matches grouped by type — pricing calculators first, then pricing guides. Each result links directly to the file, so you can jump from a search like “wedding photography packages” straight to the Wedding Photographer Pricing Calculator or the Ultimate Guide to Photography Pricing without scrolling through a category index.
What the search looks at
For every calculator, the search scans the title, the summary, the assigned category, the keyword list, the URL slug, and the full rendered body of the calculator page itself — so a search for a specific input field name (like “second shooter” or “cottage food law”) will surface any calculator that mentions that term. For every guide, the search scans the title, summary, category, URL slug, and the full article text. That means a search for a specific fee (the Etsy offsite ads fee, the Stripe chargeback fee, the ATA certification premium) will find the guide that documents it even if the term does not appear in the title.
Searches are case-insensitive and match by substring — so “photography” will find wedding photography, event photography, portrait photography, and print photography calculators alike. Multi-word queries match across the full text, so “freelance hourly rate” will return the calculator for the freelance hourly rate, the guide that explains how to calculate it, the value-based pricing versus hourly guide, and any article that mentions hourly rate pricing in passing. Exact matches rank above partial matches, and title matches rank above body matches, so the most relevant results appear at the top of each group.
Search by profession
If you know what you do but not which calculator you need, type your profession — photographer, Etsy seller, food truck, cake maker, tutor, translator, makeup artist, personal trainer, yoga instructor, cleaning service, lawn care, handyman, pet sitter, event planner, florist, calligrapher, or interior designer. The search will return every calculator and guide written for that profession, ranked by relevance. From there, pick the calculator that matches your specific pricing question.
Search by formula or concept
If you already know the underlying pricing concept — food cost percentage, burdened hourly rate, markup vs margin, keystone pricing, value-based pricing, subscription pricing, package pricing, anchor pricing, decoy effect, per-square-foot pricing, per-serving pricing, per-word pricing, per-acre pricing, cottage food law, Etsy fees, self-employment tax, overhead allocation, or profit margin — the search will surface both the calculator and the paired guide that explains it. The guide tells you why the formula produces the number it produces; the calculator lets you plug in your own inputs.
Search by fee or platform
If you are trying to price around a specific fee — the Etsy transaction fee, the Etsy offsite ads fee, the Stripe processing fee, the PayPal business fee, the Square reader fee, the Shopify subscription, the Amazon Handmade referral fee, the QuickBooks subscription, or the freelance platform commission — the search will surface every guide that documents that fee. Each guide that mentions a platform fee breaks the fee down by percentage, fixed component, and total cost-per-sale impact, with worked examples showing how the fee flows into a final price.
Browse by category instead
If you prefer to browse rather than search, every calculator and guide belongs to one of ten categories that mirror each other. The categories landing page lists all ten with descriptions, calculator counts, and article counts. Each category page lists every calculator and guide in that category side by side. The ten categories are: Photography, Handmade & Etsy, Food & Bakery, Freelance Services, Tutoring & Teaching, Beauty & Wellness, Home Services, Events & Creative, Pricing Fundamentals, and Freelance Strategy.
Search the glossary for definitions
If you are looking for a definition rather than a calculator — what is markup, what is margin, what is prime cost, what is keystone pricing, what is burdened hourly rate, what is cottage food law — visit the pricing glossary directly. The glossary defines every pricing term used anywhere on the site, with inline links to the calculator or guide that uses each term in context.
What to do if you cannot find what you need
If a search returns no results, the page suggests the most popular calculators and a full list of categories to browse. If you cannot find a calculator for your specific pricing question, the library does not yet cover it — and we would like to. Email the editorial team with a one-sentence description of the pricing decision you are trying to make (the profession, the unit you sell, and the question you need answered), and we will add it to the editorial calendar. New calculators and guides are published monthly, and prioritised requests come from working practitioners rather than from generic SEO keyword lists.
Why we built a dedicated site search
The meyy.info library is large enough — and growing fast enough — that a category tree alone is not always the fastest path to a specific calculator. A photographer pricing a wedding album does not want to scroll past every other calculator on the site to find the print-pricing tool; a freelance translator negotiating a per-word rate does not want to skim the entire freelance services category to find the rate-by-language-pair guide. Site search collapses the navigation cost from “find the right category, then the right tool” to “type what you want.”
Every page on meyy.info also links to the search from the global header — so if you are deep in a guide on candle pricing and need to find the soap pricing calculator, the search box is always one click away. The search is powered by the same PHP backend that serves the calculators, runs in real time against the live file system, and requires no JavaScript to function — making it accessible to users on slow connections, screen readers, and devices where JS is disabled. Try it now: type a profession, a formula, a fee, or a concept into the box above.
